The surface is covered with ancient yellow-green and brown patina, coated with primitive thick patina. The whole piece is shaped as an S-curled dragon. The dragon body is fully decorated with fine cable patterns, twisting smoothly like twisted rope. The dragon head raises upward with protruding snout and curled horns. A small circular perforation on one side of the body is made for threading. The tail is finished with a cable knot. Cable-patterned dragon is a classic motif of Han jade. The superb carving shows powerful and unrestrained artistic style of Han Dynasty jade. It is a high-grade personal pendant from Han Dynasty with remarkable craftsmanship and collection value.
