The outer wall is painted with a vigorous dragon amid waves in blue and underglaze red. The dragon’s body and scales are rendered in rich blue, while its fins, mane and flame patterns are highlighted in underglaze red. The dragon head spouts water, with surging sea waves at the bottom and flame cloud patterns above, creating a powerful and majestic scene. A blue line decorates the rim, and the base is unglazed with solid clay and natural aged rust-red hue.
