Height:3.6cm(1.42in)Width:5.9cm(2.32in)Weight:70g(0.154lb)This is a round-carved jade rabbit of Han Dynasty, a high ancient jade artifact carved from Hetian jade. The rabbit is depicted in a squatting posture with head raised, ears lying close to the head, slightly bulging round eyes, simply carved nose and mouth, and four limbs curled under the body. It has a plump and vivid form. The jade base is mild, covered with orange-red patina mixed with natural black speckles. The patina penetrates into the jade texture naturally. The carving lines are simple and primitive, shaping the body with concise cuts. The surface has thick, glossy patina with obvious weathering marks. It is a fine example of Han Dynasty round-carved animal high ancient jade, suitable for hand appreciation and collection.
