Round French Silver Deep Blue Guilloche Enamel and Crystal Table Box
Hallmarked with French Minerva on the silver rim

This exquisite round French silver table box, standing 3 inches high and 2.5 inches in diameter, is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. Hallmarked with the French Minerva on the silver rim, this piece boasts a heavy and high-caliber circular lid that unscrews smoothly. The lid is entirely enameled in deep blue Guilloche enamel, a technique that involves applying a geometric and engine-turned pattern to silver and then covering it with a translucent layer of enamel. This process gives the patterns beneath the enamel a rich and vibrant hue-in this case, a stunning deep blue.

The lid retains most of its original interior cork lining, ensuring its functionality as well as its beauty. The base of the box is an engraved floral crystal jar, which is not only visually striking but also practical. The silver-mounted threads on the jar provide a tight and secure seal, preserving the contents within.

This table box is a perfect blend of elegance and utility, ideal for collectors of fine silver and enamel pieces or as a luxurious addition to any dressing table or display cabinet. Its impeccable design and craftsmanship make it a timeless piece, reflecting the artistry and sophistication of the French decorative arts of the Art Deco period.
