This elegant pair of vintage wine coasters exemplifies the refined craftsmanship and sophisticated design typical of early to mid-20th-century decorative tableware. Fashioned from gleaming silverplate, each coaster features a pierced gallery edge, meticulously crafted with a series of geometric cut-outs that lend a delicate, lace-like appearance to the perimeter.

The interiors are adorned with beautifully marbled faux tortoiseshell inserts, rendered in a rich amber hue with swirling patterns of caramel and black, evoking the luxurious look of genuine tortoiseshell. At the center of each insert, a finely engraved gilt sunburst medallion adds an opulent touch, serving as a focal point that enhances the coasters' overall elegance.

Resting on four rounded silver feet, these coasters are both decorative and functional, designed to elevate the presentation of fine wine or champagne bottles while protecting table surfaces. Their quatrefoil shape adds a unique and sophisticated architectural flair, making them versatile additions to both traditional and contemporary dining settings.
