Vintage Cast Bronze Thumbs Up Sculpture on Wood Base c.1950s

Description

This small cast bronze sculpture depicts a naturalistic hand giving a thumbs up, mounted through a angled triangular hardwood base with a green felt bottom. The bronze has a warm, dark patina with good surface detail in the knuckles and skin texture. It reads equally well as a desk piece, a paperweight, or a bit of optimistic folk art depending on where you put it.

The piece measures 5.75 inches tall by approximately 4 by 5 inches at the base. It is unmarked and in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear throughout. Please see all available photographs and consider them as part of the item description.
