Adjustable English Mahogany Stool. Stool is crafted in rich mahogany and features a floral upholstered seat. It is raised on four fluted and turned legs joined by a shaped stretcher. The central threaded column allows for vertical height adjustment, a practical innovation designed to accommodate pianists of varying heights while adding visual interest to the form. The circular seat retains its classic silhouette and is upholstered in colorful floral motif on cream background, creating a nice contrast against the warm mahogany wood.
In modern homes, this stool is ideal as a piano or keyboard stool, and can be used as a vanity or dressing table seat. Stool is also perfect beside a bookcase or reading nook, or use as a decorative occasional seat beside a fireplace, bedroom chair, or entry console. Its compact scale, rich patina, and adjustable mechanism make this Victorian piano stool both a practical furnishing and a charming piece of decorative history.
