Watercolor and ink on paper depicting Vienna's iconic St. Stephen's Cathedral, with its Gothic architecture, distinctive patterned roof and soaring south tower, animated by a horse-drawn carriage and figures in the foreground. Executed with loose pen-and-ink linework and washes of blue, green, ochre and brown. Inscribed "Stephansdom, Wien, '08" and signed at lower right. Artwork measures approximately 7.5 x 11 inches; presented matted and framed, measuring approximately 20 x 22 inches overall. Austrian, early 21st century.
