From the living estate of Arizona based brutalist sculpture artist John Gleason, capturing a moment of whimsical charm and quiet reflection, this authentic vintage Lladro porcelain figurine features the iconic "Clown Lying Down" (Payaso Acostado), reference number 01004618.Designed by renowned master sculptor Salvador Furio in 1970 and later retired, this substantial statement piece showcases the signature pastel palette and exceptional glossy glaze that define classic Lladro craftsmanship. The sculpture depicts a reclining clown resting on his stomach with a thoughtful expression, his oversized shoes playfully propped up on a striped beach ball.

Every delicate detail-from the soft ruffles of his white suit to the expressive sculpting of his face and hands-is beautifully preserved. A striking and highly collectible addition to any art porcelain collection or a playful vintage accent for a modern mantel or shelf.
