Early 19th Century French Directoire Child's Armchair. Chair is finely carved and painted in soft tones with a timeworn patina that beautifully reflects its age. The armchair features elegant carved arms and squared back and is upholstered in a cream fabric that complements the distressed painted frame.
Chair can be enjoyed as its original purpose, or as an accent piece in a living area or hallway, beside a console table or desk as a whimsical piece, or as an artful object in a library, bedroom, or entryway. This versatile piece bridges past and present, bringing history and charm to both traditional and modern interiors.
