Undertow - Original Abstract Painting by J. Kent Martin

Description

Undertow by J. Kent Martin presents a moody, atmospheric composition dominated by deep blacks, charcoal, and muted metallic tones. Layered vertical and horizontal forms suggest underlying currents-forces moving beneath the surface. Subtle textures and tonal shifts create a sense of depth and quiet movement, while the structured grid anchors the composition. The darker palette enhances the painting's introspective quality, drawing the viewer into its layered complexity. This original abstract work offers a powerful yet understated presence, ideal for collectors seeking depth, mood, and refinement.
