Superbly cut and engraved Russian Imperial glass egg, featuring an elaborate central medallion inscribed in Latin "PETRUS PRIMUS RUSSORUM IMPERATOR" - "Peter the First, Emperor of the Russians." Surrounded by laurel wreaths, anchors, sails, and naval motifs, the piece celebrates Peter the Great's maritime legacy and the founding of St. Petersburg as a naval power. It reflects the artistry of late 19th-early 20th century Russian glassmaking, rich with Imperial history and nautical symbolism. Stand is a modern addition for display purposes.
