Maasai Vintage Wedding/Bridal Collars and a Walking Stick

Description

This shadowbox frame holds 2 Maasai bridal/wedding collars and a walking stick in the center. They have been handcrafted by the people of Maasai of Kenya and Tanzania. The collars are made of leather and glass beads. Elders carry the walking stick during traditional ceremonies, rites of passage and dances. It all was made approximately in the mid-1970's. The height of this shadowbox stands t 32.5" high, 23.25 wide and is 2.5" deep. I purchased this from a dealer in Las Vegas, NV.
