Charming vintage original watercolor dated 1982 and signed Paul Deluce at the lower right. The composition depicts a quiet European architectural streetscape with white stucco buildings, red tile roofs, arched gateways and mature trees.
The artist uses a restrained palette of soft gray, cream, pale blue and terracotta accented by strong black architectural details. Delicate washes combined with confident ink-like line work give the piece a particularly appealing Mid-Century/late-20th-century European modernist character.
Presented under glass with a wide charcoal-black mat and slim black frame, creating a sophisticated presentation that works beautifully in traditional, Scandinavian, modern or eclectic interiors.
