Antique English majolica sardine box dating to circa 1880, finished in striking cobalt blue glazes with applied floral decoration and a sculptural fish handle atop the lid. Resting on its original undertray, the compact form and vivid Victorian palette make it an eye-catching example of late 19th century English majolica. A charming collector's piece for kitchen display, butter service, or cabinet presentation. Please note firing flaws/lines mostly visible to inside of box.
