A charming vintage lidded pottery vessel featuring a rich chocolate-brown glazed ground and unusually detailed hand-applied floral decoration. The rounded body is flanked by two loop handles and topped with a fitted domed lid and integrated handle.

The surface decoration is particularly attractive, combining delicate gold-toned scrolling foliage with dimensional cream flourishes and small floral accents in orange and pale blue. The symmetrical central motif gives the piece an almost embroidered quality, while additional floral sprays continue around the body.

Its dark earthen palette and intricate decoration give the vessel a warm, collected appearance well suited to traditional, cottage, folk-inspired, or layered interiors. Beautiful displayed on open shelving, a kitchen hutch, sideboard, or as part of a collection of vintage pottery.
