A sculptural pagoda lantern in substantial cast aluminum, distinguished by a two-tier roof, upswept eaves, and small hanging fish ornaments. Faux bamboo columns frame arched openings above a raised, faceted tray base. Decorative relief patterns and the softly textured silver finish give the piece depth and character, while the ring finial completes its architectural silhouette.

At 17 inches tall, it makes an eye-catching centerpiece without overwhelming a table. The open framework beautifully displays a flameless pillar candle, a small floral arrangement, or a decorative object. For entertaining, place a separate dish on the platform to present sweets or small bites beneath the pagoda canopy. It would also make a distinctive accent on a bar, console, or covered sunroom table.

Its pagoda form and ornamental pendants suit Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, and traditional interiors. The architectural silhouette recalls the elaborate pagoda lanterns of Charles Edwards, while the substantial, sculptural aluminum has an affinity with the decorative metalwork of Arthur Court. It would complement the richly layered decorating associated with Mario Buatta. These are aesthetic references; the maker is unidentified.
