Photographic portrait print of former Boston Red Sox baseball player Joe Wood, with New Haven Conn signed check by him. Photo signed by 'The Wood Family"; Virginia, Joe Jr, and Bob. Addressed to David Pease (Yale Univ. former Dean of Yale School of Arts).

Frame: H 18-1/2 in. W 15 in.

Together with a Harper's Weekly print after Frederick Remington's 'Football Collision at the Ropes', which also has references to Yale. (Unframed) H 15-3/4 in. W 21-1/4 in.

Excellent.
