Height:3.7cm (1.46in) Length:17cm (6.69in) Weight:190g (0.419lb)This is a Han Dynasty Hetian jade belt hook with dark natural patina. The jade is mild and smooth, with dark brown patina concentrated on the dragon head and young chi dragon. The hook head is carved as a large dragon, and the hook body is openworked and high-relief carved with a climbing young chi dragon, forming the theme of dragon teaching its offspring. The chi dragon has a lively posture and graceful curves, with a circular button on the underside. It is exquisitely carved with ancient charm, a fine example of Han jade belt hooks.
