Length:42.5cm (16.73in) Width:8.3cm (3.27in) Weight:620g (1.367lb)This pair of Han Dynasty Hetian jade knives is made of celadon jade with natural mottled inclusions and ancient thick patina. The curved blades are elegant in shape, the handles are perforated, the ridges are decorated with diamond meander patterns, and the handle ends are shallowly carved with beast-face motifs in simple and forceful lines. They are Han ritual jades, and a matched pair is quite rare.
