Red Fender Stratocaster electric guitar signed on the body in black felt tip marker by all four members of The B-52's: Kate Pierson, Fred Schneider, Keith Strickland, and Cindy Wilson. Measuring approximately 39" x 12.75" and in fine condition. Guitar is accompanied by a whammy bar and hard case. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett (#AG021764) and an original EMI Music North America Letter of Authenticity dated March 25, 2011. Notably, the EMI letter identifies this guitar as belonging to Keith Strickland and confirms it was signed and donated by the band for the 2011 Red Cross EMIFamily4Japan charity auction, benefiting disaster relief efforts following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. A particularly desirable example featuring all four signatures directly on the guitar's body, with documented provenance connecting it to the band and its charitable contribution.
Provenance
This piece was recently authenticated by Beckett, and a full letter from Beckett is expected to arrive approximately 4–6 weeks after the auction’s conclusion.
