Xie Zhiliu (1910-1997), Green Peaks and Pine Springs, Scroll. Length: 92 cm (36.22 in); Width: 41 cm (16.14 in). Painted in the style of Song and Yuan masters, this landscape employs combined texture strokes for rock formations, overlaid with rich blue-green mineral pigments to create profound spatial layers. Gnarled ancient pines cling to cliff sides, while waterfalls cascade through mountain valleys. Red trees dot the rolling blue-green hills, rendering a serene and expansive scene. The poetic inscription at the top features elegant calligraphy, integrating painting and verse harmoniously. With refined colour palette and solid brushwork, it is a representative landscape work by Xie Zhiliu. Retains original old mounting, the paper bears natural age toning.
