Diamond ring by Taffin takes top-lot honors at Hindman Important Jewelry sale
CHICAGO – Hindman Auctions’ September 13 Important Jewelry auction realized more than $2.2 million, and tremendous bidding activity throughout the sale contributed to a 95% sell-through rate. A selection of diamond rings led the sale, with additional diamond lots also drawing active biding. Property from the collection of an elegant lady from Palm Beach, Florida; the collection of Mrs. A. Edward Allinson of Palm Beach, Florida and the Hirschfield estate of Santa Barbara, California, brought excellent results.
Frida Kahlo painting poised to set auction record in November
