NEW YORK – On Saturday, February 3, starting at 8 pm Eastern time, Jasper52 will offer a sale titled The Art of Luxury: Designer Jewelry & Watches. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.

The sale features almost 425 lots of earrings, necklaces, brooches, pendants, bracelets, rings, and handbags, but the brand that earned all three highlight slots is the venerable house of Cartier. Ably starting things off is a Cartier Penelope 18K gold and diamond three-row necklace centered on a pendant that takes the form of a double ‘C’. The 16in-long necklace boasts 16 round brilliant-cut diamonds of VVS1 clarity and E color, having a total weight of .70 carats. It carries an estimate of $40,000-$48,000.

Representing Cartier’s artistry in the realm of rings is an 18K rose gold, diamond, carved rubellite, amethyst, and onyx ring estimated at $58,000-$70,000. Specifically, it includes 69 round brilliant-cut diamonds of VVS1 clarity and E color among the more colorful gems.

The third and final highlight is a Cartier Diabolo 18K gold quartz watch festooned with 15 carats of pavé-set diamonds of VS1 clarity and E color. Described in the lot notes as being in ‘great working condition,’ the watch is estimated at $34,000-$41,000.
