NEW YORK – On Tuesday, December 5, starting at 2 pm Eastern time, Jasper52 will conduct its next sale of Fine Pearl Jewelry. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.

A veritable rainbow of pearls are represented among the 103 lots – black pearls, golden pearls, pink pearls, and traditional white pearls. The pearl jewelry chosen for the sale’s three highlights favors darker pearls, some in peacock green and some with a silvery sheen.

First among the highlights is a single-strand necklace of multi-colored Tahitian pearls, estimated at $5,000-$5,500. Described as ‘bright,’ the pearls reflect shades of green, purple and silver.

Another prize is a pair of Tahitian peacock green pearl drop earrings on 14K gold mounts, estimated at $900-$1,000. The yellow of the gold contrasts beautifully with the green and purple hues of the two pearls.

The third and final highlight is a single-strand necklace of Tahitian pearls with metallic silver hues, estimated at $6,000-$6,500. The pearls range in size from 11 to 14mm (.43 to .55in) and the piece comes with an authenticity certificate from the Pearl Science Laboratory in Tokyo.
