Description
STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC JUG / PITCHER, featuring "VIEWS OF THE / ERIE CANAL", as printed to underside, depicting Aqueduct Bridge at Rochester to one side and View of the Aqueduct Bridge at Little Falls to reverse, with floral border. Impressed "2" and printed "12" to underside. Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 6 1/2" HOA.
Mostly undamaged with minor painted over flake to interior rim.
