STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a "CITY HALL / NEW YORK" example and a soup plate with "STAUGHTONS CHURCH / PHILADELPHIA." Each having printed pattern name and "BEAUTIES OF AMERICA / J&W RIDGWAY" to underside. John & William Ridgway, Hanley, England. 1813-1830. 8 1/4" to 9 7/8" D.
"City Hall" undamaged, except having crazing to underside; "Staughton's Church" having professional restoration to hairline. "City Hall" example with firing separation to shoulder edge, as made.
