Rare illustrated prognosticative work on the Apocalypse by the greatest English astrologer of the 17th century. The apocalyptic woodcuts are well engraved and captivating in their subject matter. The work is very rare in commerce, especially with a complete suite of woodcuts, as here. The present work has been described as "A re-isssue of the appendix to 'Monarchy or no monarchy' by William Lilly"; and the Wing catalog cites 2 variant publisher addresses for this edition, with the imprint of the present volume reading "by John How at the South west Corner of the Royal Exchange in Cornhill..."
