Ancient Central Asia, Indus Valley, Harappan / Mohenjo-Daro, ca. 2300 to 1900 BCE. A petite pottery bowl of relatively circular form with a squat foot and a decorative register of birds and geometric motifs - perhaps a temple layout - surrounding the exterior walls in hues of red and blue-green atop a beige ground. Size: 3.25" L x 3.2" W x 2.7" H (8.3 cm x 8.1 cm x 6.9 cm)

Professional repair and restoration to area of side wall and underside, with resurfacing and overpainting along new material and break lines. Light fading to original pigment and scattered earthen deposits. Nice motifs across exterior.
