Item Details
Description
Two late 19th to early 20th century 18ct gold gem-set rings. Each designed as a circular-shape ruby and red-gem, old-cut diamond and colourless paste five-stone tapered panel ring. One with maker's marks for Deakin & Francis. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1890 and 1912. Weight 4.5gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Evidence of resizing/alteration to the bands. Some replacement gemstones and pastes, including two replacement colourless pastes. Gemstones have fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstones in fair condition with nicks and nibbles.
