Description
North Carolina Currency
March 9, 1754 North Carolina 30s PCGS VF-30 “PPQ”
North Carolina. March 9, 1754. Thirty Shillings. “House” vignette. PCGS graded Very Fine-30 Premium Paper Quality.
Fr. NC-81. One of the nicest examples of this very early1754 issue on North Carolina we have offered. The paper quality is vastly superior to most of this issue we have encountered, it being quite clean, well printed upon fine laid period paper. It is signed by, Lewis De Rossett, Sam Swann, and John Swann. Uniface design, the reverse is perfectly clean and free from any detractions. Only 4,000 notes were printed. This one stands out as it retains a huge left indent border showing a significant anout to the fancy design.
