Description

Marked "Edw. vom Hofe & Co. / Makers / NY", ferrule at the grip is marked "E. vom Hofe & Co. NY / 69". Rod shows evidence of a very old refinish, possibly done by the maker. Four guides and agate tiptop. There is a lengthwise crack and chipping on the small section of cork between the reel seat and the grip ferrule, and several instances of varnish chipping to the rod. Reel seat is all metal sliding band with an offset screw lock. Overall Good condition.
