ENGLISH TRANSFER-PRINTED AMERICAN HISTORICAL CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF FIVE, including one unmarked 2" H pearlware custard cup with flared rim and design of two birds or partridges on the side; one 4 1/4" D saucer having a peacock on interior and "FOUNTAIN" printed on base as pattern as well as "B.A.P. & Co LTD", and one 10 1/4" H pitcher with "MAZARA" pattern as printed on base and marked for "J.MEIR & SON". Unmarked unless noted above. Staffordshire and other areas. 19th century.
One faint radial hairline on base of saucer, chip on underside of rim on custard and one short hairline on foot of the same, surface hairline on base of one pitcher, two radial hairlines on side of one pitcher. One flake on base of foot on teabowl likely from manufacturing as it is triangulated with other touch marks.
