**First Time At Auction**

Native American, Southwest, ca. 20th century CE. An endearing polychrome storyteller with four children - two holding the storyteller's arms and two resting on her legs. The storyteller has her mouth open as is customary, based on the traditional singing mother motif, as the four children listen. A sweet example painted with a vibrant color palette. Size: 4.25" W x 6.875" H (10.8 cm x 17.5 cm)
