Bought at Drouot-Richelieu auction in Paris; and pottery anvil of the sort used to make the vessel, c. 300 BCE-200 CE. Sizes: 1) Vessel, 8.75'' x 7'' (22 x 18 cm) diameter; 2) Anvil, 4.4'' x 4.25'' (11 x 11 cm) Diameter. Provenance: David and Barbara Fraser.
