I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the high levl of professionalism shown by this auction house. Having won a lot in ther last auction I contcated them about shipping and was treated with great customer service > I am extremely satisfied

READ the Auction House disclosure in its entirety!!! You may be under the impression that everything in a bundle purchase is whole and authentic? But maybe NOT you could have a mystery? Ask detailed questions if you don't want surprises.

As the headline states. Picked up inperson in Gardena. The people there were the best.

The payment process was quick and very easy, and luckily the item was located near me so I was able to do an in-person pick up of my items. Making an appointment to pick up my two items was easy (although I did have to call a couple of times before I was able to reach someone), but the staff was very friendly and helpful over the phone and in person. Everything was just as described, I was in and out in under 15 minutes, all the instructions for picking up items are clearly detailed in the confirmation email and it couldn't have been easier. I was impressed and would absolutely bid/purchase with Julien's Auctions again.

Horrible to work with, no one to answer calls even though there are tens and tens of people working in the company. Wouldn’t send additional photos as everything was locked up in the warehouse. Pickup process was a major headache. I’m sorry, I’m always buying from different auctions on LiveAuctioneers and Julien’s was the worst experience ever. Would avoid buying from them as much as possible. Very disappointing for the reputation of Liveauctioneers.

I have been purchasing jewelry for years for my business from the Live Auctioneers Platform. When a auction house states that some items are shipped in house it has always included small items like jewelry as a in house shipping option. My decision on how much to bid is directly influenced by if a auction house offers in house shipping and if I need to account for higher shipping cost by a third party provider. I won a lot of two small jewelry items totaling $900, when I contacted the auction house to arrange shipping I was told to go thru live auctioneers for shipping whose charge for items that could ship in a padded envelope came to over $100-they offered no shipping alternatives although when I read about the shipping policy prior to the auction it stated they offered both in house shipping and shipping partners. I even asked if I could email a prepaid shipping label and pay a packing fee. Of the dozens of auction houses I have purchased from I can not recommend this auction house and will not be purchasing from them in the future. Communication as I tried to work out the shipping was slow to respond and unhelpful with me reaching out multiple times before receiving a answer-at this point I would love to just cancel my purchase. I have already recieved other jewelry items purchased the same day from another auction house and I am still awaiting a email from this auction to try to see if they will work with any other shipping options as stated under thier own shipping details.

Quality items and well described

TRYING TO GET MY ITEMS SHIPPED ITS BEEN 5 DAYS AFTER PAYING AND STILL CANT GET A STRAIT ANSWER FROM THEM, THEY ARE NOT HELPFULL AT ALL, ALL DAY SAY IS I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY TURN, THEY SOLD 400 ITEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 EMAILS AND 5 PHONE CALLS NO RESPONSE STRAIT FORWARD ANSWER TO WHEN I WILL GET MY INVOPICE, DONT EVEN HAVE AN SHIPPING INVOICE FOR MY ORDER YET, IMAGINE HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE FOR THEM TO SHIP, THEY SAY I CAN CHOOSE MY OWN SHIPPER SERVICES BUT THEY DONTEVEN HAVE THE SHIPPERS LIST THAT THEY CAN SUGGEST!!! BAD AFTER SALES MANAGEMENT WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN

The item accuracy was spot on, & they made the necessary arrangements for me to pick up my item during the holidays, when staff was limited, which was greatly appreciated, especially when my item was a Christmas gift. I was so excited to win an item that was advertised as being in my hometown. Considerably reducing potential shipping costs. When I won the item I was informed it was actually based in Los Angeles and thus the shipping costs would be nearly $1000. More than the cost of the item itself. Juliens informed me it was Live Auctioneers mistake, which didn’t make sense as it was advertised for several weeks prior to the auction and would someone from Julian’s not check the listings? When I contacted LA they were also unhelpful and told me to contact Julian’s. So it was a case of passing the blame while I was left to pay the substantial unexpected shipping.

A truly professional auction house, with professional personnel who are there to answer all your questions... and the packing of my lots was a work of art; so much care and attention. They undoubtely have a great catalog, however, their lack of communcation was offensive. They didn't ship for so long until I reached out to them asking why and then they charged me a ridiculous amount as the shipping cost. I see other reviews saying the same thing. I should have looked first.

Was treated horribly. Received one of the chairs with broken back. Julien's photos revealed no such damaged. I was essentially called a liar with a bad attitude. Thank goodness the shipper had taken photos prior to packaging which showed the damage when they received the chair. Obviously somewhere along the line Juliens's damaged the chair. Paid $1500 to ship for essentially one good chair. To be fair I did purchase again from the Auction House and that purchase was fine.

I was able to pick up a beautiful, rare lamp I purchased at the storage facility for the auction house. I made an appointment with them, which was easy to do, and met with very helpful staff-fully masked-who met me on time as scheduled, had wrapped the lamp carefully, placed it in a large box, and carried it to out my car. First class service! Thanks so much.

I received this large framed artwork with the glass broken in several places. The worst shipping ever.

Especially with credit card fees which are simply wrong and simply charged. Even if questions come up none were answered.

Although shipping took as long as they said it would, about 2 weeks, it would have been nice to get it sooner. Yes I did call and ask, but they couldn’t get it out any faster. Nonetheless, friendly staff, efficient auction and interesting items. Juliens has turned out to be one of my favorite houses which I have won a few items and always satisfied.

The description and photos were accurate to a "T". There was no doubt in what I was bidding on. Everything from start to finish, went smoothly. The packing of these items for shipment couldn't have been more professionally done. Thank You for some awesome pieces and a Great shopping experience. I look forward to doing business with you again.

Not the cheapest... but you get rare items which command the prices they deserve.
