Mowhawk does not have a good checkout system. I had a hard time contacting them to pay for my items. When I was finally able to pay them, they did ship the items quickly and the condition for gun pamphlets of this age was excellent. Also shipped safely so the pamphlets didn't get folded or wadded up in the mailbox. Thanks

I have been doing business with Mohawk Arms, off and on now, for nearly 15 years. The owner is a great guy, and will work with you to make your interaction with this auction house a pleasant one. Unlike other sites on Live Auctioneers, Mohawk doesn't gouge you with out of state taxing, high S & H fees or additional fees like simply using a credit card. They ship from in-house, which makes it easy to get your items on their way. I recently called to pay for my items, and found myself talking to the owner for about 30 minutes... 3 minutes to take care of payment and the rest talking about the antique business! Unfortunately the lot was either misplaced or stolen during our live auction-we cannot find it. We will keep searching for it and hopefully get back to you. We apologize for this issue. "They have not contacted me since then prior to this post. I have tried to contact them on three separate emails, and two phone calls. No response. I have contacted my bank and requested a refund from this auction House. I am sorry to have to write this, but this Auction House should be avoided in the future by everyone.

The knowledge they have and the vast array of items, always makes for an adventure in History.

Gave a mixed review earlier because the seller gave me the incorrect measurements of the lot I won. I contacted them, and they promptly gave me a full refund of the lot I won. Will be looking forward to bid on their auctions!
