Hudson Valley Auctioneers is managed by Theo de Haas, Theo has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the auction world and has worked with Neil since 1986.
Theo takes care of day to day operations, photography, appraisals, antique transport and trucking, marketing & web design.

All the moving, packing & trucking will be done by the auction house; we do not subcontract the moving of your valuables to part time employees or to third party companies
While we certainly handle large consignments with confidence, small consignments are welcome as well.

Morrison & McAuliffe Estate Goods and Art
Hudson Valley Auctioneers will present an unreserved antique and estate auction featuring the partial contents of the Estate of Jack McAuliffe, the Estate of Mark Morrison and others. Mark Morrison began his life as a sculptor while nearing his professional retirement. In the late 1930's and into the 1940's, he, like many of the younger artists in New York City, availed himself to the great many academies, museums, teachers and mentors it offered. He studied with John Flannagan before his death, and then Jose de Creeft and William Zorach at the Art Students League.. The 61 lots in this auction consist of 36 primarily stone sculptures and 23 original photographs of his work by Soichi Sunami acquired from his widow several years ago and now offered in their entirety at this sale. Jack McAuliffe?s personal collection and possessions are offered in this sale and include many fine paintings, multiples and period frames, several bronzes and quality 19th century smalls among them an original plaster maquette by Daniel Chester French. . Other estates provided Mid Century furniture, bedroom and dining pieces in teak as well including a Bruno Mathsson lounge. Estate jewelry in gold and silver set with various stones will be plentiful as well as a large selection of sterling hollowware and flatware. A small selection of Chinese and Japanese porcelain, artwork and an exceptional rosewood carved dragon chair will begin the general sale. Expect offerings of Tiffany, Steuben, Lalique, fine china and glass, a small collection diecast and other toys and a varied but interesting group of estate furniture from country to high style. Plan to preview or view the sale online. Gallery is open for payments and pickup Tuesday 5/6 from 10am to 3pm and daily that week 9-3:30. Couldn't get much better
Very helpful people. Picked up many pieces of furniture and they were there to carry to the truck and load for us. Stored them for us as long as we contacted them first. Feel comfortable buying from a distance.
