I have purchased from many different auction houses via LiveAuctioneers, and unfortunately this will be my first negative review. To begin, the payment portal is not user-friendly. It took a month 1/2 to receive my won lot, because seller/shipper did not complete requested watch forms for customs clearance. Upon receiving my watch, there are dramatic flaws not stated in the LiveAuctioneers "listing description." The listing photos were cropped to hide major flaws. Auction house concludes that legally they are exempt from responsibility because there is a "requested" condition report that includes flaws, but that still does not include detailed condition photos. So bidders beware, you cannot trust the auction house to provide basic information in a convenient place near the lot without the fear of pertinent lot information being held in less accessible places. I understand legally they have no liability, but this felt ethically ambiguous. Management was not able to provide any real remedy to the issue. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

The good thing is that I received a Full Refund, after the bisque statue has got completely destroyed during delivery. Also, initially there was an issue with the astronomic shipping quotes, that has got resolved during the intense communication.

AFTER I paid my invoice, which was done in a timely manner, Chiswick inexplicably opened up a dispute against me..... then just left it open. I received my lot a week ago and the dispute is STILL open. They have not replied to several messages requesting it be closed that I sent to them through LA's system and by email. It's now almost two months after the auction has ended and I still have an open dispute, which has prevented me from bidding on other items (Registration not approved due to open dispute). I contacted LA "Help" and they basically said they can't do anything about it.

BEWARE! I have not yet received the lot I have been trying to contact them via e-mail and telephone but without ever a response. BEWARE I request a total refund of the purchase price and shipping costs but without any positive results. Only silence from them! I will be obliged to continue through legal action until the end.

I have made a number of purchases from this seller and all transactions have been satisfactory.

I've never placed a bid before at this auction house. No correspondence or invoice from this seller was ever received. The seller then started a dispute onliveauctioneers.com. On the final winning page at liveauctioneers, there was no invoice either. I asked the seller why they had created a dispute on LiveAuctioneers before contacting me or sending me an invoice. The vendor claimed that the invoice is not shown on the liveauctioneers website. They did not respond to my question about why I did not receive their invoice via email. The big question here is How do I know I need to pay this order? The seller seems not care his buyer and firmly ignore my questions. Not recommended this seller, too arrogant.
