The auctioneers description said the ring was 34mm across, and I bid on it expecting a very large amethyst. When it arrived, I discovered it is only 24 mm across, with is considerably smaller than expected. while it is a beautiful ring, it's worth much less than expected. But what is really frustrating, is the when I emailed the auction house about the problem, they did not respond at all. Buyer Beware!!!

Asked the auction house for an invoice so that I could pay the auction house directly by a bank wire. Made several phone calls and emailed several emails to the auction house asking for the invoice. Invoice was never provided. As my payment was due and Liveauctioneers platform was about to charge my credit card on file, ended up paying the auction house thru Liveauctioneers platform, which charged a payment fee even for the direct bank wire to the auction house. Auction house invoice finally came, with the shipment. Auction house informed me by email that I should pay next time by following their instructions if I want to avoid the Liveauctioneers payment fees. Asked the action house how to pay them without an invoice, no response still...

It was better when you were in PA, the shipping was faster.

Their descriptions are always exactly right and I have bought from them many times and have never been disappointed.

The payment was processed instantly via ACH to liveauctioneers.com" and the funds were cleared and cashed out on the same day. The following day, I visited the store to pick up the watch. Upon testing the watch, I discovered that the watch was not functioning properly; the issues were not clearly outlined in the descriptions. I was unable to set the date and time, and the crown lacked the Rolex logo. "Hampton Auction house" recognized these issues and submitted a request to "live auctioneers" for a full refund. I would like to extend my gratitude to Ms. Kate at "Hampton Auction", who has been diligently working with "Live auctioneers" for the past five weeks to expedite refund process.

I have been buying from Hampton for a long time. And mostly very satisfied with their service. In the last few auctions, I bought several men watches for myself. I have noticed in the past that sometimes the watch bracelet sizes are not accurate. But didn't care much as it was not a big difference. I just want to point out that you should expect the watches you are buying to be 1 "smaller than stated in the description, as the case of the last three men watches I bought. Which made a difference for me that I have to buy several hundred worth of links for each watch which I didn't expect. I will still buy but now will take that difference into consideration. Or confirm in advance about the size. As I said this auction is good to buy from, but wanted to point a specific issue with their measurement.
