Prefer Visa Payment as opposed to check

They are the best auction house I’ve dealt with. Beautiful items and very good, professional service.

They charged me $40.00 to ship in house. Just a necklace via USPS Priority Mail. That was absurd. I pay much less when a professional shipper picks up, packages, and ships. Their attitude was "Everyone charges $40.00, so that is very reasonable." I will not be buying from them again.

Some of the auction houses are selling fake items as authentic or just don't care to do their homework

I find some of the auctioneers to be very slow to respond. It would be good to be be able to rate sellers. Also sellers who have inventory that sits for years is annoying

Hampton Estate Auction should consider accepting credit card payment. It would certainly help speed up the check out process.

Not accepting credit cards does not make sense. Hampton accepts checks? No one has checks anymore. I was very upset that Hampton does not have a modernized system to receive payments.

Auction website continues to list item as payment due even though transaction completed and item delivered.

We've dealt with this auction house several times already and will continue to do so. Their insistence on payment with checks or wires only is rather annoying and "old-school", but it gets the job done all the same. Just a personal peeve and no reflection on the integrity or professionalism of the auction house, which has always been on the up and up.

Everything was just fine.

They were wonderful responding to questions & concerns about payment & shipping. However, questions concerning condition of item did not receive any response. This makes it difficult for the online bidder since only one photo is provided to assess the item. Also intangibles like odor, worn springs, loose mountings, etc. are indiscernible from a photo.

PAYING ONLY WHIT MONEY TRANSFER, TO EXPANSIVE FOR OUTSIDE USA, WHIT CREDIT CARD WILL BE MUCH BETTER, SHIPPING TO MUCH MONEY

I have purchased several things over the years from Hampton Auctions. I have been pleased with each item. They give personalized service after the auction and make the payment process smooth and efficient.

At bk I had no issues at Hampton estates it was a terrible experience. Had to get an outside company to pack and ship and they wouldn't take any credit cards to I had to wait weeks for snail mail.

Kate is the lady who handles all matters related to the auction. She is extremely professional and very pleasant to deal with. After a rough start over a year ago with this auction house, things have completely turned around. I am a regular bidder/buyer with this auction and always feel very safe bidding.

I have notified the auction house that there is a blemish on the stone of the ring I purchased which was not visible on the photographs they chose to provide. I have not heard anything back from them-not even an acknowledgement of my complaint.

They don't take American Express or credit cards so the payment process takes longer.
