The January 27 edition of European Furniture and Decorative Arts includes 337 lots of British and Continental furniture, sculpture, clocks and more. Featured are a group of fine gold boxes and enameled vertu objects, the Shaheen Collection of Northwest Georgia, a Main Line, Philadelphia Collection and many others.

This sale features a wide assortment of items including William & Mary, Queen Anne, Chippendale, and Federal furniture, along with decorative smalls including early silver, Chinese Export porcelain, Staffordshire Historical Blue, Mochaware, portrait miniatures, painted boxes and housewares, Nantucket baskets, and decoys. Portraits, needlework samplers and pictures, and folk drawings and paintings round out the auction. A few notable collections include Property from the Estate of Helen Elliot Scott, pieces acquired from the well-known antiques dealer, David Stockwell, Inc., and a group of coverlets deaccessioned from the Art Institute of Chicago.
