Love my necklace! Exactly as described.

I obtained a very attractive half gallon alkaline-glazed pottery jug. The process went smoothly from start to finish. Informative photos, but definitive nature of the description was misleading. The piece was billed as "iconic Crawford Co GA" ~ which is a very desirable area for collectors. The identification didn't feel right, but the jug itself was an excellent piece in excellent condition. Upon receipt and further inspection, I determined it wasn't Crawford Co ~ it wasn't even GA. Fortunately for me, it was an excellent piece ~ but from a completely different region (Catawba Valley NC) If the auction had said "possibly Crawford Co... it would have been more vague, but accurate. Because the description was written so definitively written, they just came off as not knowing anything about Southern stoneware. The piece was delivered promptly and was well protected for keeping pottery safe from damage. The auction house had high quality offerings overall. And my piece was high quality ~ just not what they said it was.

An extremely positive experience in every respect. The marble bust of the young Augustus was presented in a very accurate and transparent way, with descriptions and images that truly reflected the real quality of the piece. The auction house was always helpful and courteous in answering my many questions, showing great professionalism and expertise. I am very satisfied both with the artwork itself, which exceeded my expectations, and with the shipping time and organization, which were prompt and well managed. I highly recommend this auction house for their seriousness, reliability, and excellent customer service.

The photos on line were good, but when the actual item is even more beautiful, my respect for your auction company skyrocketed. Thank you so much. Seriously happy with the purchase. Item was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. My only issue was that I was told I would receive tracking information when it shipped. I kept checking back and it said "items received and in que for processing" on 5/2. Never received an update but it arrived on 5/25. It still doesn't show any tracking in the system.

There were frequent power outages during the auction that kicked me out, then while making computer adjustments I must have touched my screen and somehow ended up bidding on a lot that I didn't intend to and won it inadvertently. There was no recourse but to pay and I'm glad it wasn't a mega-expensive lot. Still, this is a warning about staying careful during an auction.

These are great people who really want to make sure you are happy. I loved my items, and they were very helpful with shipping. I would not advise going with LA shipping. They are forced to list it, but they have other options you can use. You can feel very confident that these people care and will be honest with you. It is not always that way with auction houses. Now I see why they have such a high rating. My new favorite auction house! I do this a lot, too. Thank you!

Live auctioneers shipping is ridiculously expensive. Not worth it. Paid more for them to ship then the actual item.
