Wonderful items! Fabulous Experience!
I have successfully bid (via LiveAuctioneers) on three Rhoads Auctions and they have all been wonderful. They have top quality items. They are knowledgeable about the artisans and items they sell. They are very well organized with the entire process. They are courteous, honest, and friendly people, and it is a pleasure doing business with them every time.

Item was packed by their shipper and arrived broken. Made several calls to try and resolve matter with no luck. No one returns calls. It’s over a month now and still nothing. Not a good experience for me.

4 of my items were broke, when I finally received them yesterday, legs were broken in pieces and some were missing. One table, all I got is the top and all the legs were broken in pieces and missing leg completely. All of the items were in good shape on the auction site. Shipper says they arrived that way. Very disappointed. Maria

My experience with the shipping (which was an outside organization) was very unsatisfactory, but Eileen handled it very kindly. I am extremely satisfied with Rhoads. Thank you!

Whoever packs the items up used Kleenex and lots of tape on some items and tiny pieces of brown paper bags to pack very small wooden items that were just loose in the paper scraps. Some of the trees were damaged because they were packed tightly. For the cost of shipping I would expect them to use decent packing materials.

For 2 years, I tried to get paid for some items that had been sold and I was not paid for them. I given no response or I'll look into it... or ill tempered response... but not paid. I finally just this month took some merchandise in exchange for my items that I was never paid for.... but I can assure you, the items I was given were by no means worth the items I was never paid for. I consigned a tremendous amount of items, again and again, to be auctioned by Rhoads. Many, many of which were sold and I was never paid for them. I even saw some of my items that I was never paid for, on other auction sites. No doubt at all that they were my items. Eileen Rhoads can be very nasty if you try to settle anything. I tried for two years to get paid for items that I was never paid for... to no avail. We finally made a type of settlement, just this month, but she was very hateful to me during this settlement, in which of course, I was taken huge advantage of... but I guess it was better than nothing. I was a Finance Specialist with the Government, and kept clear and accurate records, of the items I sent, and the items I was paid for. When I would question her about some of the items I had not been paid for, she would either ignore me, or claim she didn't have those items. True, she didn't have them... they were sold, and I was not paid. If I sent you a list of just how many good items I was never paid for... you would be appalled. I have sent a request for a shipping invoice on some dollhouse lamps that I bought and paid for.... but still don't have any response. I will never deal with them again... I just want the money back for the lamps, or a shipping invoice to receive the lamps. Judy

Great auction house-I know this is slightly beyond their control, but the UPS store they use is extremely expensive (nearly $70 for packing and shipping less than 3lbs of very small books). That's my only issue. The auction house was prompt, delivered the books to the shipper quickly and the product arrived safely and in condition described.

I submitted bids in advance. I was the highest bidder for a particular item, but was told I was not the purchaser. When I inquired, I was told nothing could be done. I will not do business with the auction house again.

This happens on the computer, we have no ability to change or see bids on liveauctioneers. It is a first come basis...... this is not the cause of the auction house.
