November 2026: Day One
Day One’s auction features fine jewelry and gemstones, including a 1.22-carat marquise-cut diamond solitaire, a 26.51-carat tanzanite and diamond ring, a 15.15-carat ruby ring, a Tiffany & Co. diamond pansy pendant, an Edwardian platinum diamond ribbon necklace, and a Greek gold tassel pendant with aquamarine and seed pearls. Selected jewelry lots from a Sumpter Township collection benefit a local animal shelter. Watches include an 18-karat gold Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse, a Cartier Panthère with original box and documentation, a circa 1940 Rolex platinum and diamond cocktail watch, and a circa 1964 Rolex Oyster Perpetual chronograph. Decorative arts highlights include a 1910 Tiffany Studios Favrile lily lamp from a Grosse Pointe Park collection and a Steuben plum jade glass bowl in the Chang pattern. Sterling silver features Wallace and Lunt flatware services in Grand Baroque, Modern Victorian, and Rose Point patterns. Additional offerings include a red Murano glass chandelier, a circa 1885 Victorian Wooton desk, a Louis XVI-style gilt mirror, and Persian and Indo-Persian carpets. The sale concludes with military artifacts from a Michigan World War II veteran of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, including a 101st Airborne Company A guidon, combat infantry streamer, veteran-signed unit photograph, Imperial Japanese naval dirks, a U.S. Model 1918 trench knife, a French cavalry saber, Scottish and Soviet dirks, and an Austrian Model 1851 gendarmerie pistol.
November 2026: Day Two
Day Two’s auction features an extensive selection of fine art, sculpture, works on paper, modern design, and decorative arts. Paintings include Georges Rouault’s work on canvas Orphee, a watercolor and ink work by Paul Klee; John George Brown’s 1908 Shoe Shine Boy with His Dog; and an 1864 Catskills landscape attributed to John Frederick Kensett. Additional highlights include works by Stephen Pace, Emil Carlsen, and Margaret Keane. Notable provenance includes the Paul W. Windorf collection and a large-scale watercolor, The Caged Lion, from Charles Culver’s personal collection. A significant archival collection of Edmund Fitzgerald-related correspondence and maritime memorabilia belonging to David Allen James, a friend of crew member David “Cowboy” Weiss. The previously undocumented material includes letters written by Weiss in 1975 and personal photographs. Sculpture highlights include Marshall Fredericks’ early bronze Baby Baboon, designed for the 1939 New York World’s Fair; a set of twelve bronze saddles by Paul Rossi; and bronzes by Evgeny Lanceray, Henry Merwin Shrady, and Carl Kauba. Works on paper and prints include pieces by Elizabeth Catlett, Andy Warhol, and David Hockney, alongside a signed Yousuf Karsh photograph of Georgia O’Keeffe. Warhol’s SAS Passenger Ticket and Electric Chair prints come from the Grand Rapids Art Museum, along with several works from this collection. Modern furnishings include Le Corbusier-designed seating, Cassina LC2 armchairs, Yrjö Kukkapuro’s Karuselli chair and ottoman from the estate of Gil and Lila Silverman, and a set of twelve white leather and chrome chairs by Katavolos, Littell, and Kelly for Laverne. The sale concludes with decorative arts, including Japanese Satsuma vases, a Rozenburg pottery plate from the James and Rose Ryan collection, and Italian majolica vases on iron stands.
November 2026: Online Only
DuMouchelles’ Online Only auction features holiday collectibles, watches, jewelry, handbags, crystal, and decorative arts. Christmas ornaments lead the sale, including signed and limited-edition Christopher Radko examples and 43 Kurt S. Adler ornaments featuring The Wizard of Oz. Watches include sport and dress styles by Invicta, Renato, Deep Blue, Nesterov, Benrus, Edox, and Raymond Weil. Highlights include a limited-edition Renato Buzo 52 chronograph, a Nesterov aviator watch, a Deep Blue Sea Ram 500 diving chronograph, and a Bucherer ladies’ pendant watch with blue enamel, gilt accents, a 14-karat gold chain, and original box. Jewelry includes a Tiffany & Co. sterling silver heart tag necklace, a House of Fabergé green guilloché enamel jewelry box, moonstone earrings, an amethyst brooch, and Navajo-style silverplate, copper, and turquoise jewelry.
