This Auction House is very professional and responsive. I was always comfortable dealing with them and would buy from them in the future.

A month later and they still have not shipped my items. I’ve sent them multiple emails and they never reply. I will never buy from them again. I will consider it a miracle if I ever receive the expensive items I’ve won.

Auction Team Breker was as usual very helpful in scheduling my delivery, holding on to the item until I returned from a trip to be home to receive it. Their payment rules require bank transfer only which is not my favorite. Finally, their description of my microscope was not quite accurate-they called it a pancratic microscope which is a special type of dissecting microscope with a unique mechanism for changing the maginfication. Tis is was prompted me to bid on this lot. But in fact, the microscope was a large drum type of achromatic microscope by Obrhaeuser which is the usual type of microscope. I should have noticed the discrepancy from their pictures and the description that this was not a pancratic microscope. But I am OK with the outcome since according to my friend and expert collecing guru this is an early and rare form of Oberhaeuser's large drum microscope which is also quite desirable and well worth the price I paid. I also wasn't happy that I was charge $400 import duty by DSL-this has never happened in over 150 shipments from European auctions.

Superb handling

A few months ago I had the pleasure of winning a gorgeous Kanzler 1B typewriter at one of Team Breaker's auctions. It is an antique typewriter, well over 100 years old. It's frame is made of cast iron, notoriously fragile, which is not helped by the fact that it's carriage stands very tall and can cause the frame to crack. I didn't need to worry though, since Team Breaker's care with packing and shipping typewriter is as endless as this machines linkages. The condition is better than described. It works perfectly, the touch is very light and fast, exactly the way it has been described to work by the original manufacturers. High typing speeds could be achieved on this machine. My favourite feature has to be the linkages and how each row of keys will articulate differently, altering the position of the key before it is thrusted forward, allowing one of the 8 characters on each typearm to be used. Unlike any other machine. Looking forward to buying more from them in the future.

Auction Team Breker is an extraordinary auction house. They are sincere and accurate. They take care of business and stand behind their sales. When the time comes for me to submit my collection for sale, I will undoubtedly choose them.

The whole process from bidding to payment and shipping was quick. Descriptions were accurate; Breker is good in assessing the state of conservation. The antique lenses arrived very well double box packaged via DHL.

Extremely disappointed! Multiple items in this lot have damages/defects that were never mentioned in the lot description or shown in the photo of the lot. They include but are not limited to: cosmetic damages such as scratches, paint loss, dings, dents; and functional defects such as non-operational shutters. The lot description said "All shutters working" and it was a lie! To be fair, none of these damages were caused during shipping because the package was very well packed and the shipping box was in excellent shape when it arrived. All of the damages/defects are pre-existing problems/damages with the cameras. Contacted auction house but they refused to admit that they had failed to evaluate the items properly! I had to open a dispute and investigation against my order via LiveAuctioneers. It's such a SHAME.

Bidding and buying processes are what I expect from a reputable auction house. The condition of the machine is as advertised in the catalogue. Staff is cordial and assisted me in planning and picking up the machine at Breker premises.

A very friendly post-auction team was assisting in local packaging and pick-up. I give an absolutely positive Feedback.

No Paypal or Credit Card allowed for payment creates additional expense and loss of valuable time needed for more important projects. In the USA DHL is well known for their inability to deliver on time. Paid for three day service, received 6 day. Bottom line for me to do further business with this auction house would require Paypal or Credit Card for payment plus shipping via FedEx or UPS.

I purchased the items on September 2022 with the expedited shipping option, but it's been almost 6 months and I still have not received my items. I also contacted the auction house company regarding the shipment, but they did not take follow up promptly or take responsibility with the shipment delay, instead pushing the responsibility to others, including myself. I will never purchase from this company again.
