I purchased a Charles Lotton glass art vase from Neue Auctions. Leading up to the auction, I requested a Condition Report, and after the auction I asked for recommendations on packing & shipping providers. All of my inquiries were answered completely, honestly and in a timely manner. The only negative comment I would have is that (like most sellers) the item is photographed under the most flattering lighting conditions. The actual item is less colorful, vivid and brilliant than the photos on the auction listing. Since this is commonly the case, I did not lower my overall rating for Neue Auctions. Solid 5 rating. RECOMMENDED.

I won a large NW coast mask which had some fragile pieces (feather and fiber) as well as a provenance card from a museum. It took weeks to get it with my calling the auction/packing service. Once delivered, the original feathers were disconnected w/no explanation of how to reset them (or photos to demonstrate their connection) and the fibers on top were badly squashed down. The provenance card was not included that was shown part of the auction and I had to chase these guys for some time to get it found and sent. I have to rate the experience overall at "C," which I think is more than fair considering all. At least my mask arrived well packed otherwise. No explanations were ever given for the issues I've noted.

This was my first purchase from Neue Auctions, and I highly recommend the dealer. The miniature chest which I purchased is beautiful and authentic. All questions I asked of the seller were fully and promptly answered. I would especially like to thank Bridget for her timely and thoughtful responses to my inquiries. Her answers provided additional insights which made me more confident in bidding at higher price levels (successfully). She is a true gem. The process of figuring out and arranging shipping was somewhat cumbersome (my ONLY negative comment on the whole process, and NOT one of the most important). In my experience, this is almost always the case for a buyer. In spite of my inquiries and efforts, I was only able to finalize packing & shipping payment and confirmation one month after the auction date. I would like to commend Noelle at the UPS Store # 0226 for her excellent customer service assisting me in navigating the packing & shipping process for this auction. Overall, my experience with Neue Auction (and UPS Store # 0226) was a positive one. I intend to do business with Neue in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I live on the West Coast, but buy from Neue. I cannot seem to get the same quality of product here for the price. They are always a delight to work with.
