Irving messaged us and let us know that one of the pieces from his purchase was missing. The very same day we spoke to Irving twice and further called and discussed the issue with him 5 more times the following day, in addition to three emails/messages. We are certain the item was packed into the box and offered him proof which has declined. We agreed to work with Irving to file a tampering claim with FedEx and subsequently file a claim with our private insurance to get Irving a full refund. Two days after we started the claim process, Irving decided to leave us this message. We are very puzzled and not sure how we could have handled this differently.

On this instance, our auction was on the 22nd and full payment including the shipping was received on the 28th and the item was shipped out 7 business days later. We agree this is on the slower side however there is typically a shipping queue that builds up from the abundance of immediate payments received. We do however take full ownership of the prior purchase Joan made with us when the item was not shipped out for nearly three weeks after payment was received. We do not feel that is reflective of our typical shipping time. Joan is always welcome to bid with us and we apologize for the repeated delays in getting her items shipped out and have offered her complimentary shipping if she decides to bid with us again.
