My main concern about this auction house is that they wouldn’t ship my item even though it was just a teapot less than 12 inches wide in its longest dimension. They referred me to their ups shipper who quoted me a price over the phone but once he picked up and packed the item proceeded to charge me almost twice the price he originally quoted me. I had to ask him to return the item to the auction house. Finally a week before Christmas Hampton house finally agreed to send the item to me for a price closer to what I had been quoted by phone. Entire process took close to three weeks. Needless to say I did not receive my item before Christmas. What really bothered me about the transaction was that Hampton House could have agreed to ship my item for a reasonable price to begin with but chose to refer me to a shipper who would price gouge me if I had to have my item before Christmas. After they figured I didn’t fall for the scheme, they agreed to ship for a reasonable charge knowing that I missed the chance to have the item before Christmas by refusing the higher shipping cost. Just a really bad service attitude all around. I would not recommend these unscrupulous people to anyone.

Everything was very well packed for safety during shipping. Excellent service from start to finish!

Item broke after first shot. Spring inside of Lock broke and the rifle is no longer made therefore cannot get parts for it.

Most everything was great but I guess with any auction, buyer beware. In fairness, they made no representations about the watch other than it needed a battery. Unfortunately, the battery was not all that was needed, it also required a complete cleaning that more than doubled the cost. Other than this, everything else about the auction was great and I would recommend them.

I have nothing but very positive things to say about Hampton House Auctions. The personnel are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and honest in their dealings with me. They sell top of the line merchandise and I have always been very, very satisfied with my purchases.

The perfume bottle we purchased had been used and still had thick old perfume in it. It should have been noted in the description that it was in used condition. I am very sensitive to scents and it was not a pleasant surprise as the thick liquid did not stay in the bottle during shipping and it was a smelly mess when it was unwrapped.

Hampton House double-boxed the two small glass vases and the package arrived at our home in a few days. They were very well packed-arrived in perfect condition.

A very smooth auction. The items bid on and won met or exceeded my expectations. I'd be very happy to bid on items in their future auctions. Hampton House Auctions is a true WINNER!!!
