Rail & Road Auctions

Rail & Road Auctions is the Midwest's only dedicated home for nostalgic railroad and automotive memorabilia. We sell choice pieces relating to railroad and automotive history, including original art, and memorabilia.
Rail & Road Auctions was started by decade long industry professionals seeking to provide a more authentic auction experience for more niche collectors. We wanted to put our expertise towards something that was more passion than profit.
We cherish every piece that comes through our door because that piece is history itself. Whether it's Railroadania or Automobile collectibles, they represent a unique place in time and bond countless memories to an era that is entirely gone. We hope we have stood out as an auction house that understands and cherishes the pieces it handles for their integrity and not just their dollar value.

Have Bought Before, Will Buy Again
I liked these particular items a good deal; one of them is going as a gift to a trolley-car buff friend.

This business is a well-oiled machine.
All aspects of several purchases I've made through Rail & Road have gone very smoothly. Their auctions usually contain very interesting and sometimes hard-to-find RR items. Catalogues are well put together. Always fun to go through.

Another solid effort
I've bought from this firm before, and I will buy from them again. The items were as advertised (in fact, the silver items cleaned up very nicely), though why one previous owner chose to make a mirror out of a dining car silver collar is a mystery to me. Also was able to get some keys for switch locks I wanted. Overall, very happy.
